I’m pretty excited to begin my Free Inquiry project. I chose to focus on off-roading and photography, mixing the two so I can create some cool looking photos! I like to go out with my partner whenever we can to try and explore nature. It helps to keep me in touch with the beautiful place we live in. I’m especially excited for all the cool shots I will get coming into the rainy and wet season. There’s nothing more calming than the smell of a forest or lake where it just rained!
One of the projects that I would like to accomplish is getting a drone shot or drone video of the trucks in nature. This will be something I work on probably more towards the end of the course, as this will be one of the biggest challenges for me. I have a drone and have taken it out a few times, however flying it close to trees and on mountain tops worries my rookie abilities!
I’m also hoping to start learning how to read maps. While off-roading, it is important to be able to navigate and know where bouts you are, as usually there is little to no cellphone service. Being able to read a map would be beneficial in situations where I might become lost or if it gets dark.
